Purpose of the machine
Cutting marble blocks into slabs of different thickness. The machine adopts a block lifting system to ensure great stiffness and stability of the rotating components.

Machine Structure
The machine adopts the cutting block lifting technology and consists of a robust metal framework that supports and lifts the block holding trolley, which slides vertically on four stainless steel guides housed in four heavy metal columns. Above these columns is positioned the containment, tensioning, and moving structure of the diamond wire.
A spacious control and working area, always located above the four columns, allows for simple and safe operation by the assigned personnel.

Block Lifting Structure
High-strength structure: reliable and stable. Equipped with two 5.5 kW brushless motors synchronized on an electric axis to allow for high control of the lifting movement. The movement reduction/transmission to the four screws is ensured by two reduction gear groups and four angular transmissions oversized both in relation to the torque to be transmitted and the weight to be supported.

Diamond Wire Handling Group
Equipped with 4 aluminum rollers containing and guiding the wire, coated with a special polymer, which are subsequently lathed to create the guiding grooves, and subjected to high-level dynamic balancing to avoid any type of vibration even at very high rotational speeds.
Each roller is driven by high power brushless motor to allow for extremely high accelerations and thus the achievement of very high cutting speeds in a very short time.

Wire Storage and Tensioning
The wire storage, wiring and tensioning unit is powered and controlled by brushless motor for winding as such as the one to provide the proper tension to the working wire.
A linear handling system with a recirculating ball screw system and brushless motor allows for perfect distribution of the wire on the winding roller.
The wire feed detection and adjustment device can correct problems giving an incorrect wire feeding.

Lubrication system
A circulating oil lubrication system equipped with a cooling system allows for optimal working parameters and a long life for the rotation bearings of the wire driving and winding rollers. A temperature sensor constantly monitors the system’s operation.

Safety system for wire breakage control
The machine is equipped with a diamond wire break detection system and automatic stop function.

In particular:- Platform with safety handrail for easy and safe access to the cutting and maintenance area

Control panel and power supply electrical panel
The electrical panel is located in a protected and safe area, away from dust and water. The machine management program allows for the control of all key cutting parameters and the storage of a wide range of information for both statistical and operational purposes.
Various automatic cutting management functions enable simple and safe use, and a comprehensive alarm messaging system allows for quick identification of any issues. The machine is designed for connection to enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems and is therefore open to Industry 4.0 architecture.
The operator interface (HMI) is provided by a large touch screen panel. Additionally, the machine is equipped with a mobile panel for manual function management in optimal positions for verification.
