The automatic spatulating machine is suitable for particularly viscous products, such as dense resins or mastics. It is designed to evenly level the product distributed on the top surfaces of the slabs during the resin application process. It ensures a smooth finish and optimizes resin absorption, improving the final appearance of the treated material.
STRUCTURE AND MOVEMENT
A spindle carriage, equipped with a spatulating head, moves transversely across the slab on a sturdy steel bridge via ROLL-ON linear guides protected by bellows. The carriage is driven by a motor-reducer and belt system.
The bridge itself moves longitudinally along the slab on linear guides. A similar motor-reducer, belt, and synchronization shaft system moves the bridge. The entire machine is equipped with an independent extraction system that prevents the dispersion of fumes produced by the application of epoxy mixtures on previously dried and heated slabs. The machine is controlled by an industrial PLC installed in the electrical cabinet. A slab profile reader automatically controls the spindle movement.
